School Development Surveys: School Development Surveys are conducted annually to gather feedback from students, staff, and parents/guardians to inform the school development process. The survey results will be provided to your child’s school and used with other data to identify the school’s strengths and challenges. Your child’s school will then create and implement a plan to build on successes and address areas of challenge.

The survey is anonymous, which means that we cannot connect your survey responses to you. We encourage everyone to participate so that we have the most accurate representation of family perceptions at your school.

Family Teacher Interviews: On Friday, March 21st your child's report card for Term 2 will be sent home. We will be using OPTIS (Online Parent Teacher Interviews Scheduler) once again to book appointments. 

Students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 27. Our interviews will be taking place from 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm and from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm.  Families will be given the option to have a virtual meeting or in person meeting.  In the event that there are any issues with technology or meeting links at the time of scheduled interviews, contact will be made with families to arrange an alternate meeting time.  

We kindly ask that our families book no more than 4 interviews with your child’s subject based teachers.  If families are unsuccessful in securing an interview time, please inform the teacher and alternate arrangements can be discussed.  You will be able to book appointments beginning on Friday, March 21 at 2:30 pm. The system will remain open until Wednesday, March 26 at 2:30 pm .

School Payments:

Beaconsfield Junior High is currently using RYCOR, a new online payment and forms system. This system makes it more convenient for parents/guardians and the school community to complete forms and make payments online using any smart device. RYCOR integrates with Powerschool to make things as simple as possible for parents. It accepts the following methods of payment:

• Mastercard

(Payment online is strongly encouraged, however cash/cheque will still be accepted in unique circumstances)

Rycor (Online Payments & Forms) 

RYCOR will allow parents/guardians to view their completed forms and payment history. A parent/guardian RYCOR account will include any school-aged children in your household,  regardless of the school they attend.
